OPAL results in Colombia presented at global conferences

NES Naturaleza has been spreading the word around OPAL at different international conferences, like the ISCC Annual Sustainability Conference in Brussels (February 2019), the International Conference on Biofuels in Colombia (March 2019), and the Globoil International Conference in Dubai (April 2019). NES Naturaleza has been running games sessions with smallholders who supply Fresh Fruit Bunches to different mills. The significance of good agricultural and environmental practices have been a major topic. Smallholders realized that being sustainable helps to avoid additional and often hidden costs. The game shows, in a great manner, the value of sustainability, even more when the results in the game are quite similar to the issues that smallholders are facing in the ground, in real life. Smallholders showed great appreciation for the game.
